Project
San Francisco Residential Renovation and Addition
Scope
With this project we built a 1,000 square-foot, two-story addition to an existing three-story home, accompanied by a complete renovation that transformed the interior.
The rear addition allowed us to relocate and expand the open plan kitchen and completely integrate it with a dining room for 12, complete with an adjacent den/children’s play area. We positioned the generous Master Suite across from the two sibling bedrooms so the parents and children could be close during bedtime and reading time. The large Master Bath features an open shower with dual heads. A Carrara marble divider complements the field of white porcelain tile. The reeded glass windows in the bathroom provide ample natural light, as well as privacy. Additional details include a built-in desk, a bar with wine cooler, and an island prep sink at the kitchen, as well as a custom headboard in the Master Bedroom.

This home is designed for a growing family. The renovation provided an open connection during various daily activities while balancing the need for privacy and separation.
