Project
Daly City Residence
Scope
This new homeowner desired to balance the fluidity of the open plan with the need for separate spaces for kids and adults. The dining room and formal living room open invitingly to each other while the family room is thoughtfully located on the opposite side of the house and connected to the backyard. The kitchen connects all rooms as the heart of the home.
The family also wanted to move into the house as soon as possible and enjoy it. To accommodate this, we came up with a budgeted plan to be executed in two phases. The initial phase included the work difficult to undertake once the house was occupied, such as smoothing the original textured plaster on the main floor to create an elegant finish. Phase two (not shown) will address the Master Suite transformation as well as the guest bathroom and the back yard.
